What A family Photojournalism session actually looks like


No bribing kids to smile or apologizing for meltdowns, this is a completely fresh take on what it means to get photos done for your family.


The opposite of a mini-session, you invite me into your home and I document ~3 hours of your real life: maybe  breakfast in pjs + you make a coffee, or a late afternoon into evening bed time stories + cuddles, but it always looks like YOU!


We can go out for a hike/ice cream/boat ride/biking whatever your family actually enjoys doing together as a family. When everyone’s relaxed, we always grab a few playful posed portraits, so grandma has a fresh print for her wall too.

Why families invite me into their homes


For over fifteen years I've worked as a professional photographer, working in fashion, music, published in magazines, and documenting weddings across the globe, but the best gig I've ever had is being "mom" to my four incredible kiddos. Documenting my own children feels like one of the most important things I can do for them and I love sharing the gift of the craft I've honed all these years with other families. More than ever, in a world shifting further into the artificial and digital, I find it important and honorable to preserve the truth of childhood with documentary style photography.



My work has been recognized by both Fearless Family Photojournalism and the Family Photojournalist Association, but the greatest career acheivment is hearing, "Thank you, these feel exactly like us."
